Olivia Attwood Sells Labubu Toy Collection, Links Obsession to ADHD
Olivia Attwood sells Labubu toys, blames ADHD for obsession

Reality television personality Olivia Attwood has revealed she is selling off her enormous collection of Labubu toys, candidly linking her past obsession with the furry figures to her Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

From Obsession to Over It: The Labubu Collection

The 34-year-old star, who rose to fame on shows like Love Island and The Only Way Is Essex, was once at the forefront of the viral craze for the collectable characters. She spent hundreds of pounds amassing around 48 of the toys and even hosted an extravagant Labubu-themed birthday party for herself.

Speaking openly on her podcast, Olivia's House, Attwood described how the intense but short-lived fixation was a hallmark of her neurodivergence. "If you have ADHD, you know we get big kicks out of novelty," she said. "I mean, come on guys, look at me. I had 48 Labubus. Like, what the...?"

ADHD, Novelty, and Moving On

Attwood explained that the thrill of the new is a powerful driver for her, a pattern she recognised in other areas of her life before marrying footballer Bradley Dack in 2023. She joked about previous relationships, comparing them to her toy craze: "I’d be like, 'oh my God, I want it. It’s mine, it’s so shiny, it’s so new...' And then a few weeks later, I’d be like, no – so bored of you."

Now, however, she stated she is "kind of over them" and has invited her fans and listeners to message the podcast to take the toys off her hands. "I look at them now and think, you deserve a better life than this," she remarked.

A Public Passion and Personal Challenges

Her love for Labubu was never a secret. She regularly showcased new additions on her TikTok, and her birthday party was a full immersion into the trend. The welcome sign featured her own face morphed into a Labubu, and she gave away dozens of the toys as party favours.

The obsession even touched her marriage, with husband Bradley Dack marking their second anniversary in June by gifting her a £175 Labubu doll. Yet, alongside this, Attwood has been publicly navigating the realities of married life. In a recent podcast episode, she addressed divorce rumours head-on, admitting the summer had been difficult and stating plainly, "marriage is really f****** hard."

By selling her collection, Olivia Attwood is not just clearing space in her home but also offering a frank insight into how ADHD can manifest, turning a personal quirk into a relatable moment for many of her followers.
