Strictly Come Dancing fans believe they have identified the new hosts after Zoe Ball and Angela Scanlon commented on an official Instagram post about the 2026 series. Ball wrote 'Boom boom boom ❤️' and Scanlon posted 'WHAT. A. CREW,' sparking speculation they have been chosen.
Fans on Reddit noted that the pair were the only ones among the rumoured ten contenders to comment on the post. One fan said: 'I would absolutely not be mad if these were our hosts. Fit the bill for me, and they both know Strictly well and how it works.'
Both presenters are reported to have auditioned for the BBC last month, alongside Rylan Clark and Emma Willis. Meanwhile, Bradley Walsh appears to have ruled himself out by announcing autumn dates for his 2026 Prat Pack tour, which could conflict with Strictly commitments. A source told The Sun: 'Bradley's announcement looks to be the surest sign yet he's not the new Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.'
BBC has confirmed the judging panel for 2026, including Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and head judge Shirley Ballas, but said plans for hosts will be announced 'in due course'.
