After their day of sunbathing, the loved-up pair headed out for the evening in a golf cart, seizing a precious moment of alone time. Dunne was photographed resting her head affectionately on Skenes' shoulder during their journey. This tropical holiday comes just one week after Skenes made baseball history. The Pirates pitcher was surrounded by Dunne, friends, and family as he was announced as the winner of the prestigious Cy Young Award.
This victory marks a monumental achievement, as Skenes has become the first pitcher in 40 years to win Rookie of the Year and then a Cy Young Award the very next season, a feat last accomplished by Dwight Gooden with the New York Mets. Furthermore, he is the first pitcher to win the Cy Young unanimously since Sandy Alcantara in 2022.
