Faye Dunaway, the iconic star of Bonnie and Clyde, made a rare public appearance at the 2026 TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood, marking her first major event in two years. The 85-year-old actress attended a special screening of her Oscar-winning film Network at the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX.
Dunaway wore a sharply tailored black suit with bold red floral appliqués, paired with a crisp white shirt and minimalist white sneakers. Her silver hair was styled softly, framing her face with timeless elegance.
The actress has largely stayed out of the public eye since the infamous 2017 Academy Awards mix-up, when she and Warren Beatty mistakenly announced La La Land as Best Picture instead of Moonlight. Her return to the spotlight was welcomed by classic cinema fans.
Dunaway rose to fame in 1967 with her role as Bonnie Parker in Bonnie and Clyde, earning her first Oscar nomination. She went on to star in classics like The Thomas Crown Affair and Chinatown, and won the Best Actress Oscar for Network in 1976.
In 2024, she participated in the HBO documentary Faye, which explored her life and career. She has also spoken fondly of her late co-star Robert Redford, calling him 'the true American elegance' in a tribute after his death.
