Former Beverly Hills 90210 co-stars and ex-lovers Brian Austin Green and Tiffani Thiessen have reunited in a nostalgic encounter three decades after their romantic relationship ended.

The 52-year-old actor and his 51-year-old former girlfriend crossed paths during a private gathering in Los Angeles on Thursday, hosted by Sandals Resort at the Hyde Lounge within Crypto.com Arena. Both stars flashed cheerful smiles as they posed for lighthearted photographs together, marking their first public reunion in years.
Green, previously married to actress Megan Fox, maintained a stylishly casual appearance in gray trousers paired with a matching jacket and white shirt. Thiessen complemented his ensemble fashionably, wearing a white lace blouse combined with dark gray jeans and striking red boots. Her brunette hair was parted to the side and cascaded past her shoulders in soft waves.
From Romance to Co-Star Challenges
The former couple originally dated between 1992 and 1995, simultaneously working together on the popular television series Beverly Hills, 90210. Their relationship began when Green confessed his feelings for the Saved By The Bell alum, initially believing he had "no chance" with her.
During an April episode of his Oldish podcast, Green recalled his surprise upon discovering Thiessen reciprocated his interest. "I was like, 'This is the coolest thing ever,' because I'd never dated anyone before," the actor revealed. "I'd never put myself out there as I did with her."
Their professional relationship intensified when Thiessen joined the 90210 cast during its fifth season in 1994, replacing departing star Shannen Doherty. Green admitted on his podcast that he hadn't anticipated Thiessen becoming a permanent cast member, expecting her to appear in only a few episodes.
Relationship Strains and Reflections
Green openly discussed how Thiessen's casting contributed to their relationship's "downfall," confessing he struggled with jealousy regarding her storylines and romantic scenes with other cast members.
"I was so incredibly jealous of storylines," Green stated. "There was just absolutely not a shred of maturity in the way I dealt with it. I was a wreck." He described checking new scripts and discovering her character's evolving romantic entanglements with different male co-stars.
Last year, Green expressed regret for his behaviour during an appearance on Shannen Doherty's podcast Let's Be Clear, shortly before her passing in July 2024 following a cancer battle. "I'd never been in a real serious relationship before," he explained. "I was incredibly jealous every time she would have to work with anybody else because we'd already been doing the show for four years. Like, this is my family."
Thiessen also reflected on their challenging period during a conversation with Us Weekly last year. "I had a boyfriend who definitely was probably not the most secure with me being there," she acknowledged, referencing Green's previous comments. Despite the difficulties, she expressed pride in how she handled the situation.

During Thursday's event, Thiessen was accompanied by her 15-year-old daughter Harper, whom she shares with husband Brady Smith. The couple, who married in 2005, also have a 10-year-old son named Holt.
Green's relationship history includes dating Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Vanessa Marcil, with whom he shares 21-year-old son Kassius. His marriage to Megan Fox lasted from 2010 until their divorce was finalised in 2021, producing three children: Noah (13), Bodhi (11), and Journey (9).
The actor is currently engaged to professional dancer Sharna Burgess, and the couple share three-year-old son Zane.
