Katie Price has opened up about her mental health struggles in her upcoming tell-all docuseries, revealing that 'no-one knew how bad it was' during her darkest moments.
The 48-year-old TV star will release 'Katie Price: Nothing to Hide' on Sky and NOW on July 8, offering an unfiltered account of three decades in the spotlight. In the series, she details her 2018 and 2021 breakdowns, which included severe depression, suicidal thoughts, and a stay at The Priory.
Speaking at Sheffield DocFest this week, Price said: 'When I had my breakdown, I don't think people really knew how bad it was, and how it affected people in my life.' She described the series as containing 'some really dark moments' but also uplifting ones, adding: 'People have to remember that it's actually my life, so if you're exhausted just watching it, imagine how exhausting it is for my little pea brain.'
The docuseries comes amid recent drama involving Price's husband, Lee Andrews, who was released from prison in Dubai after being arrested on suspicion of espionage. Price initially claimed he had been 'kidnapped' before he resurfaced. After his release, the couple reunited via FaceTime, with Price stating: 'I'm excited – but trust me, I have questions.'
'Katie Price: Nothing to Hide' premieres on Sky and NOW on July 8.
