Jeff Brazier and Kate Dwyer Split After 7-Year Rollercoaster Marriage
Jeff Brazier and wife Kate Dwyer split after 7 years

TV presenter Jeff Brazier and his wife, Kate Dwyer, have reportedly ended their marriage after seven years, concluding what sources describe as a rollercoaster relationship marked by several reconciliations and separations.

The Beginning of the Relationship

Jeff Brazier, previously known for his relationship with the late Jade Goody, found love again in 2013. He met PR expert Kate Dwyer during a trip to Mauritius while working with This Morning. Their romance blossomed quickly, with Jeff expressing his happiness in a 2015 interview with HELLO! magazine, stating he felt "wonderfully grateful to have her".

By August 2015, Jeff was hinting strongly at marriage and a future family with Kate, telling The Mirror, "It's going to happen. I think we're working our way to it." He also spoke fondly of his two sons, Bobby and Freddy, from his previous relationship, looking forward to seeing them as older brothers.

Marriage and Mounting Difficulties

The couple got engaged in 2017 and tied the knot in a 2018 wedding in Portugal. However, the honeymoon period was short-lived. By 2019, rumours of trouble began to surface. Observant fans noticed the pair had unfollowed each other on Instagram.

At the time, a representative for Jeff confirmed they were experiencing difficulties but denied a split, saying, "They have had some difficulties but they are doing their utmost to work through them together." The couple managed to reconcile, but the underlying issues persisted.

The On-Again, Off-Again Dynamic

In 2022, after nine years together and three years of marriage, the couple confirmed a split. Jeff took to Instagram to announce the breakup, revealing he had moved out of their shared home. He described a difficult period, citing the end of the relationship and supporting someone close to him, which left him feeling an unprecedented sense of loneliness.

Reports at the time suggested lifestyle differences were a key factor, with Kate being more socially active while Jeff preferred a quieter home life. Despite this, by 2023, they had reconciled once more, publicly confirming their reunion on Instagram with a photo showcasing their wedding rings.

The final signs of a permanent split emerged earlier this year. In June, Jeff's son Freddy posted a TikTok video listing "step parents" and "my family issues" among things he hated, hinting at renewed tensions. The most concrete evidence came on 25 November, when Jeff appeared on Good Morning Britain without his wedding ring. It is now reported that Kate has moved back to her own apartment in Hackney, London.
