The highly anticipated BBC drama Half Man has finally arrived on BBC One, bringing an "explosion of violence" to the small screen. The series, which stars Baby Reindeer creator Richard Gadd alongside Jamie Bell, explores the complicated 30-year bond between two men who consider themselves brothers.

The gritty new drama tells the story of mild-mannered Niall (played by Jamie Bell) and the unpredictable Ruben (Richard Gadd). Episode one opens at Niall's wedding with an intense conversation between the two, who see themselves as brothers not by blood but by circumstance. The series then takes viewers back to their teenage years, exploring how their friendship began and what went wrong over the decades.
