Andrew Garfield and Jude Law Transform into Siegfried & Roy in First Look
Garfield and Law as Siegfried & Roy in Biopic First Look

Hollywood stars Andrew Garfield and Jude Law have performed a remarkable magic trick of their own, disappearing into the roles of iconic entertainers Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn. A first-look photo from their upcoming Apple TV+ biographical series, Wild Things, reveals the actors' startling transformations into the legendary Las Vegas magic duo.

The Astonishing First Look

The image, shared on social media on Wednesday, 15th January 2026, by film journalist Jeff Sneider, shows the two actors in full costume on the stone balcony of The Venetian in Las Vegas. Garfield, 42, embodies Roy Horn, who passed away in 2020, while Law, 53, portrays his professional and romantic partner, Siegfried Fischbacher, who died in 2021. The pair look nearly unrecognisable, having fully embraced the flamboyant style of the world-famous performers.

Garfield sports a thin soul patch, a black beret, and a royal blue sport coat over a collarless white shirt, complete with thin glasses and a rabbit-foot necklace. Law's transformation is even more extreme, featuring apparent prosthetics to alter his chin and nose, shaggy blond hair, sleek sunglasses, and a bold jacket with padded shoulders and leather sleeves.

The Legacy and The Tragedy

The series will chronicle the extraordinary rise of Siegfried & Roy, whose animal-based illusion show became one of the most successful and lucrative stage productions in Las Vegas history, grossing hundreds of millions of dollars over decades. The official logline promises a deep dive into their "wild ride relationship" and their role in transforming Sin City into a family-friendly destination.

However, the act met a horrific end on 3rd October 2003. During a performance, a 400-pound white tiger named Mantacore attacked Roy Horn on stage. The animal clamped onto Horn's neck, dragging him into the wings. Trainers were forced to use a fire extinguisher to break its grip. Horn suffered a severed spine, a stroke, and massive blood loss, leaving him partially paralysed for the rest of his life. The duo never performed together again.

Bringing the Story to Screen

Wild Things is based on the podcast of the same name and has been in development at Apple since 2022. Garfield and Law were confirmed to star in May 2025, with both also serving as executive producers. John Hoffman leads the project as showrunner, director, and executive producer.

The series aims to explore the illusion-versus-reality dynamic that defined the pair's lives, both personally and professionally, culminating in the mystery surrounding their final, fateful show. Garfield was last seen in the film After The Hunt, while Law recently joined the Star Wars universe in Skeleton Crew and is set to play Vladimir Putin in the fictional political thriller The Wizard Of The Kremlin.
