JoJo Siwa has publicly declared her love for Chris Hughes after her ex-partner Kath Ebbs posted a series of bitter messages marking the anniversary of their breakup. The 22-year-old singer and the 32-year-old former Love Island star began their relationship while appearing on Celebrity Big Brother last year.
Kath Ebbs, an Australian actor and content creator, shared a series of Instagram Stories on the anniversary of being dumped by Siwa. One post read: 'Happy one year anniversary to her x,' alongside their original breakup reaction. Another showed Kath kissing their new fiancée, footballer Tilly Lucas-Rodd, with the caption: 'Sending hate to your cheating ex day.'
Kath also addressed online trolls, writing: 'And to all those moles on the internet that trolled me for getting literally cheated on. Therapy bills getting mailed to you losers xx.' The couple had previously accused Siwa and Hughes of 'emotional cheating' after they grew close on Celebrity Big Brother.
Siwa, who has not directly responded to Kath's posts, shared a photo of Hughes kissing their dog on Instagram, writing: 'Missing both my boys.' She followed up with a beach embrace photo and the caption: 'Today marks 11 whole months. What a lucky life. Last 'month' anniversary.'
The drama stems from the Celebrity Big Brother wrap party last year, where Siwa reportedly ended her relationship with Kath. Kath later claimed they had been 'humiliated' and accused Siwa of 'love bombing'. Siwa denied the cheating allegations, stating they were said 'out of anger and frustration' and insisting Hughes had nothing to do with the breakup.
Earlier this month, Siwa and Hughes celebrated their one-year anniversary. Siwa posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, calling their meeting 'serendipity' and expressing gratitude for their relationship.
