Coronation Street viewers are convinced they have worked out which character will be killed off next week, as well as the identity of the murderer. The death, which sparks a whodunnit storyline, is set to be revealed by the end of the week, with the killer to be unmasked later in the year.
The potential victims are Theo Silverton, Carl Webster, Maggie Driscoll, Megan Walsh and Jodie Ramsey. Each character will feature in an episode focusing on their possible final day, before the body is discovered by Betsy Swain on the day of Lisa and Carla Connor-Swain's wedding.
Fan theories point to Carl Webster as the most likely victim, with speculation that either Debbie Webster or Ronnie Bailey could be the killer. One viewer suggested: 'Ronnie kills Carl I think,' while another said: 'I think Debbie kills Carl.' Others believe Theo Silverton may be the murderer, with one fan posting: 'Theo kills Carl final prediction.'
Alternatively, some fans think Megan Walsh will be killed off after she was exposed for grooming teenager Will Driscoll. Theories suggest Maggie Driscoll or Eva Price could be the killer, with one viewer commenting: 'It’s Megan cause Eva is leaving for a while maybe she’s the one who does it.' Another added: 'It’s Megan cause Eva goes prison for murder which is her story line to leave the soap!'
