Amazon Prime Video has suffered a major outage across the UK, leaving users unable to stream films and TV shows. According to DownDetector, the issues began at 09:16 GMT on Wednesday, with reports surging from viewers nationwide.
Of those reporting problems, 85% said they were unable to stream videos, 12% could not log in, and 2% experienced website issues. The Mirror tested the app and encountered a spinning wheel on the home page, with downloaded content also inaccessible.
The cause of the outage remains unclear. Amazon has not yet commented on the disruption. Users are advised to check the Amazon Prime Video status page or social media for updates.
