BBC Presenter Adam Henson Shares Honest Thoughts on Jeremy Clarkson's Farm
Adam Henson Reveals What He Thinks of Clarkson's Farm

Countryfile presenter Adam Henson has shared his candid views on fellow farmer Jeremy Clarkson and the influence of Clarkson's Farm on British agriculture. Clarkson, the former Top Gear host, owns a 1,000-acre farm in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, which he purchased in 2008 and began farming in 2019 after the previous tenant retired.

Adam Henson's Perspective on Jeremy Clarkson

Henson, who runs a 650-hectare farm in the Cotswolds, discussed Clarkson's impact during an interview with The Oxford Mail. He noted: "It seems to me from the people around him and from his own voice that he's really found a passion in farming. He's a great advocate for British agriculture, and he's tied up with some great people who work on the programme with him."

The BBC presenter acknowledged that Clarkson's Farm, now in its fifth series on Prime Video, has brought farming to a wider audience. "Clarkson's Farm is very funny, it's quite theatrical in the way it's produced, but it's brought agriculture and farming to a whole new section of society," Henson said.

The Impact on Farming Culture

Henson praised anyone who helps educate consumers about farming, adding: "And for me as a farmer who loves telling the story about British agriculture, you've now got programmes like Countryfile and Clarkson's Farm, you've got YouTubers, you've got people on Instagram."

Clarkson's Farm features Clarkson's pub, The Farmer's Dog, and follows his challenges, including undergoing cardiac surgery and dealing with storm damage. The show continues to highlight the realities of farm management.
