Vanessa Bryant has delivered a scathing response to unfounded rumors that she is pregnant and seeking to remarry, six years after the devastating loss of her husband, Kobe Bryant. The 43-year-old took to social media on Sunday evening to dismiss the wild speculation, which surfaced just weeks after what would have been her wedding anniversary with the late NBA legend.
Vanessa shared a report on her Instagram story that claimed: 'Vanessa Bryant is set to remarry after inheriting a 50 percent share of Kobe Bryant's wealth.' In response, she wrote: 'Can you guys decide already... am I pregnant for the 100th time or am I getting remarried?'
Since the tragic helicopter crash in 2020 that claimed the lives of Kobe and their daughter Gianna, Vanessa has been the subject of numerous false reports about her personal life. She has repeatedly stated that her focus remains on being a mother to their three surviving daughters: Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.
Just days before shutting down the pregnancy and remarriage rumors, Vanessa had shared a heartfelt tribute to Gianna on what would have been her 20th birthday. Posting an old photo of herself kissing Gianna, she wrote: 'Happy birthday to my sweet baby angel, Gianna. Words can't express how much I love and miss you mamacita. Mommy loves you so much! #HappyBirthday #20.'
The post was flooded with support from celebrities and fans alike, with LeBron James, Kim Kardashian, and Jennifer Lopez among those who replied with touching messages.
In other family news, Natalia, Vanessa and Kobe's eldest daughter, was granted a five-year extension on her restraining order against an alleged stalker, Dwayne Kemp, in December. The original order was issued in 2022 after Kemp reportedly began contacting the teenager two years earlier. The amended order now also protects Vanessa, Bianka, and Capri.
Kobe and Gianna were among nine people killed in the helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. The rest of the Bryant family was not on board.
