Rita Ora Commands the Stage in Ireland with Striking Fashion and Heartfelt Revelations
Rita Ora ensured all eyes were on her during a recent performance in Ireland, showcasing a dramatic black leather corset minidress that highlighted her slender waist. The singer appeared absolutely sensational in the skintight, short-sleeved one-piece, which featured distinctive pink boned panelling running down the front and was finished with matching lace edging for a bold, cohesive look.
A Complete Fashion Statement with Personal Flair
To complete her striking ensemble, Rita elevated her frame with a pair of lace-up knee-high boots and draped an elegant pink feather boa around her shoulders. She styled her signature blonde pixie cut into chic, gelled curls and accessorised with bold silver drop earrings, adding a touch of glamour to the edgy outfit. Backstage, the performer was visibly in high spirits, posing energetically before taking the stage to entertain the enthusiastic crowd.
The Masked Singer judge expressed that the performance left her feeling exhilarated and eager to embark on a tour. She shared a heartfelt message, gushing about her personal growth, writing: 'It was too short but I loved the girl I became ON and OFF the stage. I can’t wait to come back and perform my Tour, I’ll see you when I come back! I love you PS singing with my band and hearing those live vocals all come together just literally melted my heart!'
Behind the Scenes: Casual Moments and Deep Reflections
In additional photos from the event, Rita was seen enjoying more relaxed moments, including sipping a Guinness in a traditional pub and sharing a hot dog with a friend. These candid snapshots offered a glimpse into her down-to-earth side amidst the glamour of her performance.
Beyond the stage, Rita has been openly discussing significant aspects of her health and future plans. In a recent interview with Women’s Health UK, where she graced the cover, she revealed how she is proactively preparing her body for menopause and considering her family planning options. The singer, known for hits like Hot Right Now, explained that after her career soared in her twenties, she enjoyed every second but noticed major physical shifts upon turning thirty five years ago.
This led to a complete overhaul of her fitness regime, adopting a mindset to 'treat my body like I'm a kind of athlete.' Rita emphasised that her health journey is not about obsession with physical appearance but rather about how she feels internally. She stated: 'I don't want people to get confused with [my health journey] being about me being obsessed with my physical appearance, because I think sometimes that line gets very blurred. It's all to do with how I feel.'
Proactive Health Measures and Family Insights
Alongside taking up weight training, Rita has educated herself on menopause, partly inspired by watching her mother undergo breast cancer treatment, which induced early menopause. She explained: 'I'm trying to get ahead of it and learn about it,' adding that she gained valuable insights from co-judge Davina McCall on The Masked Singer.
Regarding fertility, Rita feels secure after freezing her eggs twice—once at age 24 and again at 27—following a doctor's advice that it was an optimal time to preserve egg quality. She reflected: '[Back then] a doctor told me it was a really good time to preserve the best quality [eggs]. It was actually the best advice, because now I'm in my mid-thirties and I have a lot of friends really trying to figure it out. It will just be more of an expansion when the time comes.'
Rita, who is stepmother to her husband Taika Waititi's two daughters, aged 13 and nine, from his previous relationship, expressed contentment with her current family role. She gushed: 'I've loved every second – the girls are just a dream. I think I got very lucky. We have a lot of fun – doing nails, going shopping. I love hanging out with them.' The couple wed in a secret ceremony in August 2022, with Rita bucking tradition by proposing.
Mental Health Awakening and Relationship Stability
Rita also opened up about a pivotal moment for her mental health: a panic attack in 2016 while meeting the then-Prince Charles at a charity event. She admitted: 'Every time I see that photo of me there, standing next to Tom Hardy, I just remember how I felt. It was like an out-of-body experience. But it was also a big wake-up call. That was one of the first times I was like, "Okay, I need to do something about this." [Therapy gave me] perspective, and I think that's what I wasn't trained in.'
Reflecting on her personal life, Rita described her relationship with Taika, which began in 2021 after five years of friendship, as feeling 'right and safe,' contrasting with her self-described 'messy twenties.' This stability has allowed her to focus on holistic well-being, blending her vibrant career with thoughtful health planning and emotional growth.
