Former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner Giovanna Fletcher has shared a surprising piece of advice for current campmate Kelly Brook, suggesting she should shower naked in the jungle to avoid the footage being broadcast.
The Naked Truth About Jungle Showers
Giovanna Fletcher, who won the hit ITV show in 2020, has revealed a little-known production secret from her time in the Welsh castle. She explained to The Sun that during her series, which was filmed in Wales due to the pandemic, producers would deliberately turn cameras away when contestants showered nude.
"A lot of women knew quite early on that if they showered nude, they would pan away," Fletcher disclosed. "They won't show it. So the biggest tip is shower naked, they can't use it anyway."
Kelly Brook's Different Approach
However, Kelly Brook, the 46-year-old glamour model who entered the Australian jungle earlier this month, appears to have a completely different strategy in mind. The presenter has taken her role as a 'pin-up' signing very seriously, even having her bikinis screen-tested by wardrobe before her jungle stint.
Ahead of entering the jungle, Brook told the Mail on Sunday: "I've got loads of different brands. I've got lots of different bikinis with me, so we haven't actually selected the ones I'm going to be wearing in the jungle yet. They've all gone off to wardrobe to get tested on camera."
A Clash of Perspectives in 2025
Fletcher expressed disappointment that in 2025, bikini shots in the jungle shower are still generating significant attention. "I feel a bit of a shame that – it's 2025 – why are we doing bikini shots and making it about that," she said, adding "that's not what I'm A Celeb's about."
Despite her successful history as a Page Three model in the nineties, Kelly Brook has been realistic about her changed body and public perception. She warned ITV viewers: "I'm not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore. Life changes and your body changes, and I just hope people are accepting of me and how I look now."
Brook also revealed she hopes to follow in the footsteps of fellow presenter Myleene Klass, whose iconic 2006 shower scene in a white bikini is ingrained in I'm A Celebrity history. Though Brook acknowledged that Klass's moment was "not a pre-planned thing" but rather "fate that was meant to be."
