In an interview with the Daily Mail, Hughes outlined his plans, stating, "She’s back in America at the moment… I’m going out to see her family the week before Christmas, to Orlando." He emphasised the difficulty of the current stretch apart: "This space now is like the longest I will have gone since I haven’t seen her. So it’s going to be nearly four or five weeks by the time I see her again."
A Carefully Planned Reunion
Hughes has a very specific schedule for his transatlantic trip. He plans to attend the highly anticipated Sunderland versus Newcastle football match on Sunday, December 14th, as a devoted Sunderland fan, before departing for the US the following day. "I’m flying out on the Monday the next day," he explained. "And then I get to see her family, which will be really nice before Christmas. They do a lot for me, her mum and dad and brother and Abby as well."
The couple's relationship became public after their stint in the Big Brother house, where viewers noted a clear chemistry between them. Initially, both insisted they were just friends, but they soon confirmed a romantic connection. This development followed Siwa's split from her previous partner, Kath Ebbs, shortly after the show concluded.
