Al Pacino Sparks Secret Marriage Rumours with Wedding Band at LA Gala
Al Pacino's wedding band fuels secret marriage rumours

Hollywood legend Al Pacino has ignited fresh rumours of a secret marriage after being spotted wearing what appeared to be a wedding band at a high-profile Los Angeles event.

The Ring That Started the Speculation

The 85-year-old actor and filmmaker was seen with the noticeable piece of jewellery on his finger while attending a gala for Leonardo DiCaprio's blockbuster film, One Battle After Another, on Thursday evening. Pacino, who stars in the upcoming thriller Father Joe, mingled at the party clad in an all-black ensemble of a long-sleeved shirt, jacket, scarf, and trousers, sporting a beard and slightly disheveled grey hair.

The sighting immediately fuelled speculation about his relationship status, coming just over a year after he welcomed his youngest child, son Roman, with 31-year-old film producer Noor Alfallah in June 2023. The couple had struck up a romance in 2022, but by late 2024 were said to be raising their toddler as friends and co-parents.

Pacino's Complicated View on Marriage

This new visual clue stands in stark contrast to the actor's recent public statements. When asked by People magazine in October 2024 if he was in a romantic relationship, Pacino answered plainly, 'No. I have friendship.' A representative for the star further clarified to the outlet, 'Al and Noor are very good friends, have been for years, and are co-parents to their son Roman.'

In his 2024 memoir, Sonny Boy, Pacino offered a candid and somewhat bleak perspective on matrimony, calling it 'an entrance to the pain train.' He elaborated to People, 'Everything's a ticket to the pain train. A ticket or nothing. Are you going to go or not? No, I'll stay here. I'll stay here at the station, I'm not getting on.'

Despite this view, the father-of-four has lived with partners in the past, telling the magazine, 'I loved living together, and then... It depends on who you are getting along with.'

A Lifetime of Love and Legacy

Pacino's romantic history is long and storied, most notably including an on-and-off relationship with actress Diane Keaton between 1971 and 1987. Following Keaton's death in October 2024 at age 79, a source shared with the Daily Mail that Pacino considered her the love of his life and would 'forever regret he didn’t make his move when he had the chance' in terms of marriage.

The insider added that while Pacino romanced many women, his children have always been his paramount focus. 'Al adores all his kids,' the source said, noting he even purchased a home in Los Angeles to be closer to his West Coast-based children.

In addition to two-year-old Roman, Pacino is father to:

  • Julie, 35, from his relationship with Jan Tarrant.
  • Twins Olivia and Anton, 24, from his relationship with actress Beverly D'Angelo.

As of now, representatives for Al Pacino have not responded to requests for comment regarding the significance of the ring spotted at the Los Angeles gala, leaving the mystery of his marital status unanswered.
