Man Airlifted to Hospital After Diggerland Injuries

A man has been airlifted to a London hospital after sustaining multiple injuries at Diggerland amusement park in Medway, Kent, according to emergency services.

Incident Details

Kent Police and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) were called to Diggerland, located off Roman Way in Strood near the Medway Valley Leisure Park, at around 4pm on Monday, June 15. They received a report of a man requiring medical assistance in the area.

Paramedics attended to the man, treating him for injuries to his pelvis and femur. An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene, airlifting the man to a London hospital for further treatment. No criminal offences were identified by police, and the air ambulance departed the area shortly after 5pm.

Emergency Services Response

A spokesperson for the police said: 'Kent Police was called to a medical incident at around 4.17pm on Monday 15 June 2026 to Roman Way, Diggerland. Officers attended alongside paramedics and a man was taken to a London hospital for treatment.'

A representative for the ambulance service added: 'SECAmb were called at approx. 16:00 yesterday (15/06/26) to reports of a person in need of medical attention on Roman Way in Strood, Rochester. Multiple crews attended the scene and assessed and treated the patient for injuries to their pelvis and femur before being joined by The Air Ambulance Charity, Kent Surrey Sussex. The patient was then airlifted to Kings College Hospital in London for further medical treatment.'

Diggerland has been approached for comment.
