Jasmine Harman has confirmed the future of her solo show, Jasmine Harman's Renovation in the Sun, as Channel 4 announces a second series. The 15-part first series, which aired last year, was a massive hit with audiences who watched the 50-year-old and her family transform a dilapidated villa in Spain.
New Series Commissioned
Produced by Double FTV, the upcoming season will see Jasmine continue her life in Spain, explore the region, and press on with restoring her beloved family home. Speaking about the news, Jasmine shared her delight while teasing the 'challenges' ahead.
She commented: "We're so thrilled that Jasmine Harman's Renovation in the Sun has been commissioned for a second series. Filming the first series was such an experience, and we were truly humbled by the support from viewers. It was wonderful to share both the reality and excitement of starting a new life in Spain. We've still got plenty more renovation challenges ahead of us, so I can't wait to continue the journey and start filming again."
Additional Projects Featured
This series will not only focus on Jasmine's villa but also follow three additional renovation projects. These will be tackled by ambitious British expats pursuing their dream lifestyle under the Spanish sun. Jasmine will drop in to check on their progress, offering guidance, encouragement, and practical assistance.
Double FTV Creative Director Michelle Heeley said: "We're thrilled to be returning for a second series. Audiences really connected with Jasmine's warmth, honesty, and enthusiasm during the first series. There are so many more inspiring renovation and relocation stories still to tell. We can't wait to head back to Spain and start filming again."
Air Date Yet to Be Confirmed
The air date for the second series has not yet been confirmed. The first series of Jasmine Harman's Renovation in the Sun is available to watch on Channel 4.
