A couple has tragically died after their car left a main road and crashed into trees in Kent. Craig Pangrazi-Simpson, 64, and Elizabeth Pangrazi-Simpson, 60, were involved in a collision on the A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, between Tonbridge Road and Old Church Road, shortly before noon on May 18.
Kent Police reported that a silver Renault Megane traveling from Pembury towards Whetsted left the carriageway on the nearside, entered woodland, and struck trees. Craig, the driver, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Elizabeth, the passenger, was airlifted to a London hospital, where she later died.
Heartfelt tributes from family
Elizabeth's sons, Josh and Jake, described the couple as "two of the kindest, happiest and most loving people you could ever meet." They added: "They were both incredibly bubbly, caring, and always brought warmth and laughter wherever they went. Family meant everything to them, and they would always go above and beyond for others. Their loss has left a huge void in all of our lives, and they will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved them."
Craig's daughter, Millie, remembered her father as a "happy, kind, gentle man" who was "popular and loved by everyone he met." She said: "His kindness, warmth and constant effort will always be remembered and deeply missed. My dad was one of the first people in my life to make me feel safe, understood and deeply loved. Even though we hadn't spoken in a while, my love for him remained. May my dad and his wife, Elizabeth, rest in peace."
