An award-winning UK furniture brand has entered liquidation, owing more than £1.4 million in debt. Pure White Lines Ltd., based in Sussex, specialises in furniture, lighting and home décor, and also sources antique and vintage items from across Europe.

The company, established in 2012, filed for creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 1 June. It had showrooms in London and a warehouse in Belgium for European distribution. In 2022, it won the Best Stand award at the interior design event Decorex.

Pure White Lines sold high-end items, including chandeliers for £6,500 and dining tables costing over £4,000. However, according to a statement of affairs filed at Companies House, the company’s remaining assets are estimated to raise only £44,853, against total debts of £1,419,237.99 owed to unsecured creditors.
