MAFS Star Adrian Araouzou Faces Court Over Driving Charge
MAFS' Adrian Araouzou charged with driving offence

Reality television personality Adrian Araouzou, known for his appearance on Married At First Sight, is scheduled to face a Sydney court later this month after being charged with driving while his licence was suspended.

Legal Troubles Mount for Reality Star

The 31-year-old former groom is due to appear at Burwood Local Court to answer the charge, which represents the latest in a series of legal issues and public controversies for the television personality.

According to reports from The Daily Telegraph, Araouzou has not yet entered a plea regarding the driving offence. When approached by Daily Mail for comment on the matter, the reality star declined to speak about the allegations.

History of Legal Challenges

This latest court appearance follows previous legal difficulties for Araouzou, including domestic violence-related charges dating back to 2020. Those particular charges were ultimately dismissed in 2021.

The legal trouble comes months after Araouzou was unexpectedly dropped by Roxy Jacenko's Ministry of Talent agency, despite having been announced as a new signing just days earlier. The separation became apparent when the reality star removed Ministry of Talent from his TikTok bio and his profile disappeared from the agency's website.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle in May about the professional split, Araouzou stated, 'There are no hard feelings. I understand what it is.'

Moving On from MAFS Legacy

The television personality has repeatedly made headlines since filming concluded for the latest season of the Nine Network dating show, where he was paired with mother-of-one Awhina Rutene.

In earlier comments to Yahoo Lifestyle, Araouzou expressed his desire to distance himself from the programme that brought him fame, stating: 'I plan on dissociating anything to do with MAFS. I enjoy creating content, so I'll continue to keep on doing that just like I was doing before the show. I have other business ventures that I would like to explore and see where life takes me. I am an open book right now.'

Araouzou has also publicly denied claims that he cheated on his television bride during filming, specifically addressing allegations that he left their apartment to spend time with another woman.

'Absolutely not. As if I would need to go have sex with someone in that space of filming,' he told Daily Mail. 'I was out for a mate's birthday and went past mine to grab a few things then went back to the apartment.'

He maintained that Rutene had been invited to join him but chose to spend time with fellow bride Beth Kelly instead.
