Netflix is set to begin 2026 with a significant addition to its library: all 25 James Bond films will become available on the streaming platform for the first time this January. The deal, struck with Amazon MGM Studios, which owns the rights to the franchise, marks a major coup for Netflix, particularly in the US market.
The arrival of the Bond films comes as Netflix aims to bounce back from two high-profile removals. Alongside the spy series, the streamer will release the first part of Bridgerton's fourth season, starring Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha. Other January highlights include a new crime thriller from director Joe Carnahan, featuring real-life friends Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, and a live special where rock climber Alex Honnold will free climb Taipei 101, one of the world's tallest skyscrapers, airing overnight in the UK.
The full list of January 2026 releases was compiled with assistance from What's on Netflix. New subscribers can access the service with a free trial, followed by a monthly fee of £9.99.
