BBC iPlayer has added over 20 classic films from RKO Pictures, one of the major studios of Hollywood's Golden Age. The collection includes iconic titles such as the original King Kong, the musical Top Hat, and Citizen Kane, Orson Welles' masterpiece often hailed as one of the greatest films ever made.
Other highlights include Bringing Up Baby, a screwball comedy starring Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant, and Alfred Hitchcock's thriller Suspicion. These films span the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, offering a glimpse into the era when RKO was among the top five production companies in Hollywood.
