As the 2025 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! reaches its climax, dedicated fans have identified a significant omission from this year's jungle antics. The grand final airs tonight on ITV, where one campmate will be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle, but viewers have taken to social media to lament the disappearance of a beloved feature.
Secret Missions Vanish from the Jungle
Throughout the current series, eagle-eyed fans have observed that the secret missions which added a layer of mischief in previous years were entirely absent. These covert tasks, where selected celebrities would undertake hilarious objectives unbeknownst to the rest of the camp, have become a fan-favourite segment.
One viewer expressed their disappointment on Reddit, stating: "There were no secret missions this year! I love it when a couple of the campmates go undercover and start doing random missions without the rest of the group knowing. It is so funny." Another social media user suggested that contestants like Aitch and AngryGinge would have been perfect for such undercover comedy, writing: "It’s surprising that they didn’t do this with Aitch and Ginge in the jungle. They would have been perfect for secret missions."
Fewer Challenges and a Final Showdown
The criticism didn't stop at the missing missions. Fans also noted that the series featured fewer Dingo Dollar challenges than usual, with campmates traditionally taking part in a task almost daily. One person questioned: "Why are there barely any Dingo Dollar Challenges? Used to enjoy watching them," a sentiment echoed by others online. The reduced presence of fan-favourite character Kiosk Kev was also a topic of discussion among the show's audience.
All attention now turns to tonight's final episode, broadcast on Sunday, 7th December 2025. The competition remains fierce following the shock elimination of rapper Aitch on Friday night, who had been a strong favourite to win.
Final Odds and Predictions
According to the latest betting odds from Betfred, Angry Ginge remains the frontrunner to be crowned King of the Jungle with odds of 4/11. He is closely followed by Tom Read Wilson at 7/2, with EastEnders star Shona McGarty currently in third place at 6/1.
However, a spokesperson for Spin Genie suggested the race has tightened dramatically. They revealed: "Currently, Ginge merely holds on to his spot as favourite... However, following Aitch’s exit, Shona has really closed the gap, now priced at 11/8 to win, meaning this year’s winner may not be as predictable as we first thought." They concluded that the contest now looks set to be a two-horse race for the crown.
