Emmerdale fans are convinced that a recent scene has revealed which character will ultimately expose Dr Todd and bring about her downfall, as new spoilers show Charity Dingle confiding in Chas Dingle about her predicament.
Dr Todd's Reign of Terror
Dr Todd has been bullying medical student Jacob Sugden for weeks and has now turned her attention to Charity Dingle. After uncovering Charity's baby lie regarding the true parentage of baby Leyla, Todd is blackmailing Charity for thousands of pounds in exchange for her silence.
Upcoming episodes for next week confirm that a desperate Charity confides in Chas Dingle about her turmoil, and the pair devise a plan to raise the cash to keep Todd at bay and prevent her from revealing the truth about Sarah and Jacob's baby.
Fan Theories Point to Caleb
However, fans do not believe it is Chas who steps up for her friend and destroys Todd once and for all. Nor do they think it is Todd's victims, Charity and Jacob, who trigger her comeuppance. Instead, viewers suspect someone linked to the pair will uncover the truth and take action.
A recent episode saw Charity asking Ruby Miligan to buy her share of the pub. Ruby was keen, but her husband Caleb Miligan—Chas's brother—was not. He sensed Charity's desperation and questioned whether something was wrong. Although Charity kept her secret under wraps, it was clear that something was amiss, and Caleb seemed convinced there was more to the story. He vowed to help Charity if she needed it, leading fans to believe he will expose Todd and end her reign of terror.
