Social media sensation and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! finalist Angry Ginge has admitted to committing the one act his family explicitly warned him against before entering the jungle. His sister Tasha has spoken out about the now-infamous 'sweet-gate' incident as her brother, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, competes to be crowned King.
The Family Plea Ignored
Morgan Burtwistle, the 24-year-old content creator from Manchester, is the bookies' favourite to win the ITV reality series. However, his journey to the final has been marked by a delicious act of rebellion. Following a Dingo Dollar challenge win with campmates Aitch and Kelly Brook, the trio secured 20 milk-bottle sweets for the camp. They secretly decided to keep half for themselves, consuming the treats before returning to camp.
His sister Tasha confirmed this was the exact scenario the family had hoped to avoid. "It was literally the one thing we told him not to do though!" she revealed. "But I guess that's what makes it even funnier." At the time, Ginge attempted to justify the snack theft, arguing it was "only fair" as they had won the challenge, and even tried to pin the blame on Kelly Brook in a later camp conversation.
A Dream Realised and a Sister's Pride
Tasha Burtwistle opened up about how significant the I'm A Celebrity experience has been for her brother, describing it as a bucket-list achievement. "[It is] something he never thought he'd actually get to do, so I was just really happy for him," she said. Having briefly visited the camp herself during a family surprise segment, Tasha expressed immense pride in Morgan's progress.
"He's gone in as 'the streamer' and look at him now!" she exclaimed, adding that watching him on TV has been "amazing and honestly hilarious." She gushed, "I couldn't be any prouder of him. He's surprised me with all the things he's done in there."
The Grand Finale Schedule
The winner of I'm A Celebrity 2025 will be revealed in an extended finale on Sunday, December 7. The main episode will air on ITV1 from 9pm to 10:40pm, followed by an extra-long episode of I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked on ITV2 from 10:40pm to 11:45pm.
This schedule provides a total of two hours and 45 minutes of finale coverage, which is 20 minutes longer than previous series' final double bills. The three remaining finalists will each face one last gruelling Bushtucker Trial to win stars for a final camp banquet, with reports suggesting producers have saved the "worst for last."
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! continues nightly at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
