Fresh from her jungle exit, Vogue Williams couldn't resist delivering one last pointed remark about her campmate Kelly Brook during an appearance on Lorraine. The 40-year-old presenter, who was the third celebrity voted off ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! on Monday, discussed her time in camp and the drama that unfolded.
The Sweet-Treat Scandal
During her chat with host Lorraine Kelly, the conversation turned to the controversy from Monday's episode. Kelly Brook, alongside fellow campmates Aitch and AngryGinge, had secretly stolen half of the milk bottle sweets won for the entire camp during a 'Deals on Wheels' challenge. They left the others believing only one sweet each had been secured.
When asked by Lorraine if they would 'still be pals for life', Vogue replied with a dose of sarcasm. 'I think we will still be pals for life, but in fairness I think I've learnt a lesson from the jungle,' she said. 'I think that I have to stop being so honest and I need to start lying and stealing like they do! Because obviously they got an extra milk bottle! I would have wanted one!'
'Snakes in the Camp'
This televised dig followed Vogue's immediate reaction upon seeing the footage during her exit interview with hosts Ant and Dec. Visibly shocked, she covered her face before branding Kelly a 'snake'.
'Snakes in the camp…' Vogue stated. When asked if she was surprised, she added, 'I'm kind of surprised at Kelly. Oh my god! That's desperate… I'd never do that.' This incident, a rare act of deception in the show's 23-year history, has fuelled ongoing speculation about a feud between the two women, despite their denials in camp.
Hypnosis for BushTucker Trials
Beyond the campfire drama, Vogue also revealed the extreme lengths she went to in order to prepare for the show's infamous trials. She confessed to undergoing hypnosis to tackle her severe fear of cockroaches before entering the jungle.
'I got hypnotised for cockroaches because I am so petrified of them, and obviously it is a favourite of theirs and the show,' she explained. However, she questioned its effectiveness when faced with the reality of the trial: 'I don't know if it worked having thousands of them poured on top of my head. It was fine in the end. You'll never understand the stench of cockroaches!'
Further Camp Tensions
Kelly Brook found herself at the centre of another clash during Monday's episode, this time with campmate Shona McGarty. In a tense moment, Kelly woke Shona from her hammock by swinging it violently, demanding she make lunch and calling her a 'lazy cow'.
While Shona laughed it off initially, she later admitted in the Bush Telegraph she didn't find the behaviour 'very nice'. Viewers took to social media to express their outrage, with many stating they would have reacted far more strongly to such a confrontation.
The drama continues as I'm A Celebrity airs tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
