Kyle Gass, co-founder of the comedy rock duo Tenacious D, has confirmed the band will reunite after he and partner Jack Black resolved their differences following a major controversy. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Gass disclosed that he and Black have now made amends, describing the process as challenging but ultimately successful. "We hashed it out. And it was hard. It is like a marriage. You go through these ups and downs, and try to understand your partner," Gass explained. He emphasised their long-standing friendship, noting he has known Black since he was 18, and compared their dynamic to a lengthy marriage with natural breaks.
Timing of the Reunion
While Gass remained somewhat cryptic about specific dates for Tenacious D's return, he assured fans that a comeback is imminent. "We will serve no D-wine before it's D-time — but we will be back. We will return," he stated, hinting at future performances without revealing exact plans.
