Police have confirmed that the celebrity arrested on suspicion of rape at Tyson Fury's boxing match in London is 30 years old. The man was originally reported to be in his 30s, but the Metropolitan Police have now specified his age.
The arrest took place in a VIP area at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Saturday, during Fury's fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov. The man was held on suspicion of rape, sexual assault, and causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.
The alleged offences are said to have occurred at an address in Golders Green in January. A female victim is being supported by specially trained officers. The man, who has regularly appeared on TV, has since been bailed.
Detectives reportedly planned the arrest in advance, knowing he would attend the event. A source told The Sun: 'It was a targeted, pre-planned operation, and he was stunned.' The police spoke to him to explain the arrest before leading him away for questioning, meaning he missed the entire event.
