Fremantle Dockers star Sam Switkowski and his wife Savannah have announced they are expecting their first child later this year. The AFL forward shared the joyous baby news in a heart-warming joint Instagram post on Saturday, revealing their family is set to grow.

Switkowski has played his entire AFL career with Fremantle since being selected with pick 73 in the 2017 National Draft from the Box Hill Hawks. Since then, the 28-year-old has cemented himself as a vital part of Freo's forward line and has also become a respected member of the club's leadership group. Sam and Savannah tied the knot in November 2024 at the stunning Coombe Yarra Valley. Their baby announcement comes just weeks after fellow Dockers star Jordan Clark and his partner Paige McCarthy also revealed they are expecting their first child.
