The daughters of Hollywood stars Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen are embroiled in a bitter public spat, with accusations of betrayal and secret relationships playing out on social media.
The Accusation That Sparked the Feud
On Tuesday, 21-year-old Sami Sheen set the internet alight with a shocking claim posted to TikTok. She alleged that her younger sister, 20-year-old Lola Sheen, had been secretly dating one of her ex-boyfriends behind her back. Sami claimed to have discovered the alleged betrayal after going through her ex's phone, where she reportedly found over 300 deleted text messages between him and Lola.
In her video, set to a Lana Del Rey track, a stunned Sami sat silently, with on-screen text reading: 'Imagine finding out your sister and ex boyfriend have been seeing each other behind your back this whole time.' She further alleged that Lola, a devout Christian, had given the ex-boyfriend a Bible.
Lola's Fiery Denial and Counter-Claims
Lola Sheen responded swiftly, first in a now-deleted post on Wednesday and then again in a second, more forceful TikTok statement on Thursday. She categorically denied the allegation, calling it a 'complete lie'.
'I would absolutely NEVER do anything with my sister's ex boyfriend,' Lola insisted to her nearly 37,000 followers. She explained the unusual living situation, stating that their mother, Denise Richards, had hired Sami's ex to work as a dog carer and cleaner, and had subsequently allowed him to move into a home office across the hall from Lola.
Lola claimed she was forced to move back home temporarily and found it difficult to ignore someone living in the same house. She turned the comments off on her viral post, which nonetheless garnered over 1,000 likes.
A History of Sibling Rivalry
This is not the first time tension between the sisters has spilled into public view. Their fractured relationship was documented on the family's reality show, Denise Richards and the Wild Things, which revealed the pair once went an entire year without speaking.
The rift reportedly began years earlier over a male friend. Lola previously told The Daily Mail that when she was 16, she became close to a friend following a traumatic car crash. Sami later dated this friend, and after their breakup, was upset that Lola remained friends with him.
The sisters appeared to reconcile on Thanksgiving 2024, but the peace was short-lived. In June, Sami publicly accused Lola of being homophobic and transphobic, criticising her for reposting conservative Christian content during Pride Month. Sami, who identifies as part of the LGBTQ community, said she was 'embarrassed' by her sister's alleged views.
In her latest statement, Lola accused Sami of having 'always been one to spread rumours about me that aren't true.' She urged the public to 'stop being so quick to believe everything they see' online. Representatives for the sisters' parents have been contacted for comment.
