Rochelle Humes' Pixie Cut Inspired by Halle Berry at Fashion Awards
Rochelle Humes' Halle Berry-Inspired Pixie Cut Revealed

Television presenter and former Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes has unveiled a dramatic new hairstyle, revealing the A-list inspiration behind her bold transformation at the Fashion Awards on Monday night.

A Star-Studded Hair Reveal

The 36-year-old star debuted a striking pixie cut on the red carpet at London's Royal Albert Hall, posing alongside her husband, Marvin Humes. Rochelle bravely swapped her signature long, dark tresses for the ultra-trendy short style, making a major style statement at the star-studded event.

She later took to Instagram to confirm the chop was genuine, sharing a snapshot of her shorn locks on the floor and tagging haircare giant L'Oréal Paris. The This Morning star revealed her muse was none other than Hollywood icon Halle Berry and her iconic gelled pixie cut from the 1990s.

Glamour on the Red Carpet

Rochelle's new hairstyle was the undeniable focal point of her elegant look. She wore a stunning vintage Dior strapless black midi dress, originally designed by John Galliano. Keeping accessories minimal, she elevated her frame with a pair of classic black stilettos.

Meanwhile, Marvin Humes complemented his wife's look in a cool brown leather jacket and matching trousers by the brand Kulakovsky.

The transformation sent her fans and famous friends into a frenzy online. Comments on her social media posts flooded in with praise, with admirers calling the new look "unreal," "perfect," and a "big slay." One fan even wrote that their "jaw actually dropped" at the sight of the chic pixie cut.

An Update on the 'Forever Home'

The glamorous evening came as Rochelle and Marvin continue their major project away from the spotlight: building their dream family home. The couple, who purchased the property three years ago, hope to see it completed next year.

They initially revealed plans for their "forever home" in June 2023, after moving out of their £3.3 million family abode in north London. Since then, progress updates have been sparing, but Rochelle recently shared that the build is slowly taking shape.

In a recent Instagram Stories post, she showed the property was still a shell, lacking windows and a front door, but noted that rooms like the bathroom were beginning to form. She has enlisted architectural designer Sal O'Connor for the project.

"In the next two weeks all windows will be in and in the new year things will look a lot different," Rochelle hinted, suggesting a 2026 completion is on the horizon. The family is currently living in a rental property while the construction is underway, describing the adventure as building their "hopefully the forever home."
