Oprah's $46k-a-Night Sydney Penthouse & 'Diva Demands' on Australian Tour
Oprah's lavish demands on Australian tour revealed

Details of Oprah Winfrey's lavish requirements, described by an insider as akin to a 'presidential visit', have emerged as the superstar continues her Australian speaking tour.

The Suite and The Entourage

Central to the revelations is the 71-year-old media icon's accommodation. Oprah has been residing in the two-level penthouse suite at Sydney's Crown Towers, which commands a staggering $46,000 per night. This elite pad, situated on the 89th floor, offers unparalleled views of Sydney Harbour and has previously hosted other global stars like Taylor Swift and Drake.

According to a source speaking to Women's Day, her tour promoters, TEG Dainty and Lilly, are covering the considerable costs. Her entourage includes a full-time 'glam team' for hair and make-up, a personal masseuse, a driver on 24-hour call, and round-the-clock security. A dedicated limousine service is also part of the package.

Private Jets and Paparazzi Protocols

Travel is another major expense. Oprah reportedly 'only flies in her private jet', a newly delivered $115 million Gulfstream G700. The insider noted that the tour promoters foot the substantial fuel bill, meaning they are not necessarily saving compared to first-class commercial fares.

Further measures are in place to manage her public appearances and maintain privacy. Assistants research and book tables at multiple top restaurants in each city on her itinerary. Oprah then makes her final dining choice at the last minute to stay ahead of the paparazzi. She also employs a stylist to help select outfits from local designers wherever she travels.

A Surprise Visit to a Bondi Bookstore

Last week, Oprah delighted locals with an impromptu visit to the cherished Gertrude & Alice bookstore in Bondi. After dining at the nearby Bills restaurant for the second day in a row on December 3, she crossed Hall Street to enter the family-run shop.

Owner Jane Turner had earlier spotted the star and gifted two best-selling Australian titles – 'Lonely Mouth' by Jacqueline Maley and 'Chosen Family' by Madeleine Gray – to her team. Shortly after, Oprah herself entered the store. She spent around ten minutes chatting, laughing, and browsing the shelves, much to the astonishment of customers inside.

Oprah's 'Oprah in Conversation' tour concludes this week, with a final show in Melbourne on Thursday, December 11, following an appearance in Brisbane on Tuesday, December 8.
