"I was diagnosed with asthma, which was a complete shock," Mohammed revealed. "I'd never had any breathing problems before, but suddenly I found myself in hospital with pneumonia, and that's when they identified the underlying condition."

"There was a real possibility I might have to pull out of Celebrity Traitors," he confessed. "The pneumonia hit me really hard, and combined with the new asthma diagnosis, I wasn't sure if I'd be physically capable of handling the demanding filming schedule."

Thankfully, Mohammed has been responding well to treatment and has managed his condition effectively enough to honour his commitment to the show. However, the experience has given him a new perspective on health and wellbeing.
"It's been a massive wake-up call," he shared. "You never think something like this will happen to you until you're lying in a hospital bed wondering if you'll be able to breathe properly again. I'm just grateful to the medical team who looked after me and that I've been able to recover well enough to take part in the show."
