Rapper's Risqué F1 Comparison Fuels Reconciliation Speculation
Machine Gun Kelly sparked both laughter and raised eyebrows during his performance at the Las Vegas F1 Grand Prix this Friday when he drew an unexpected parallel between racing and his intimate life. The 35-year-old musician, whose real name is Colson Baker, told the crowd: "And just so you know, I'm not much far off from an F1 racer when I'm in the bedroom, because I'm very fast and it takes me a long time to get to the finish line."
From Split to Co-parenting: The Megan Fox Saga
The cheeky comment comes amid swirling rumours that Kelly has rekindled his relationship with actress Megan Fox, 39, following their November 2024 separation. The split occurred after Fox reportedly discovered Kelly had been communicating with other women behind her back. At the time of their breakup, Fox was pregnant with their daughter Saga Blade, who was born in March 2025.
According to sources speaking with People magazine, Fox has been impressed by "how he's stepped up for both her and the baby", sparking speculation that their relationship is healing. An insider revealed last month: "He spends pretty much every night at her house with the baby, and they act like a couple, but they haven't put a label on it or made anything official."
The source elaborated that while the former couple maintain separate homes, they frequently spend time together as a family, prioritising their newborn daughter. "Megan's very happy with how he's stepped up for both her and the baby," the insider added. "They're putting the baby first, and it's brought them closer in many ways."
Navigating Parenthood and Public Scrutiny
Kelly has been openly appreciative of Fox's mothering skills, describing the Transformers star as a "phenomenal mom" during a September appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. He told the host: "I had it with a person who is the greatest partner, the greatest partner to have had a child with."
The rapper also discussed their daughter's striking resemblance to both parents, noting: "We go back and forth on who she looks like. Last month, she looked exactly like me and now she looks exactly like her."
Kelly previously explained the meaningful origin behind their daughter's unique name, telling Hudson: "My family is Norwegian and there's a Norwegian goddess called Saga and it means epic story. To get her on this Earth through highs and lows - it truly was an epic story of love, pain and a lot of magic."
In a refreshingly honest moment during an August interview, Kelly revealed how Fox reacted when someone complimented his parenting. "Someone the other day was like, 'You're such a good dad!' just because I was holding the baby," he recalled. "And she was fuming. Like, 'No, no, no, no.'" The musician quickly redirected praise to Fox, acknowledging: "I want to detract any congrats to me, and just move it to Megan. Because she really does all the work."
Despite their current family harmony, sources told Us Weekly in May that Fox didn't foresee a romantic future with Kelly at that time, though she appreciated his dedication to fatherhood. The insider stated: "Megan is in heaven with her baby girl and is really focused on being a mom right now," emphasising that they were "absolutely not getting back together at this point in time."
Both celebrities bring parenting experience to their new family dynamic. Kelly is already father to 16-year-old daughter Casie from his previous relationship with Emma Cannon, while Fox shares three children - Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 9 - with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
Amid the personal developments, Kelly continues his professional momentum, having released his seventh studio album Lost Americana in August and preparing for his upcoming tour beginning November 15 in Orlando. The extensive global tour will include UK performances and is scheduled to conclude in July 2026.
