Maura Higgins' 35th Birthday Extravaganza in Dubai Continues with Yacht Party
Maura Higgins' Dubai 35th Birthday Celebrations

Former Love Island star Maura Higgins is showing no signs of slowing down her lavish 35th birthday celebrations, currently taking place in the sun-drenched luxury of Dubai.

Sun, Sea and Celebrations

The television personality, who officially marked her birthday on November 25, has jetted to the United Arab Emirates with a close group of friends for an extended holiday filled with back-to-back parties and exclusive dinner dates.

This Friday saw the celebrations reach new heights as Maura traded glamorous evening wear for a stylish white bikini, taking command of a rented yacht she expertly steered through the iconic Dubai Marina.

She shared glimpses of her aquatic adventure with her followers on Instagram, showcasing her lithe physique in the chic two-piece while at the helm. As dusk settled over the city, Maura and her influencer friend, Sophia Laura, enjoyed a picturesque jet ski ride around the harbour, adding to the holiday's memorable moments.

Setting the Record Straight on Cosmetic Procedures

The birthday break follows a recent candid admission from Maura regarding her use of cosmetic treatments. In a notable shift from her previous denials, the reality star confirmed to her followers that she now uses Botox.

She credited @drroshoffical for the injectable treatments, explaining her decision came after dealing with perioral dermatitis, which led her to stop other facials and focus solely on skincare and Botox.

This new openness contrasts with her statements back in 2021, soon after her appearance on the ITV2 dating show. At the time, she admitted to having lip fillers just once, three months after leaving the Love Island villa, and letting them dissolve. She had firmly denied any other work, attributing changes in her appearance to having worn braces for a long time.

What's Next for the TV Star?

Maura Higgins is set to expand her television portfolio in the new year. She has officially signed up for the second series of The Celebrity Traitors USA, which is scheduled to air in January.

Intriguingly, while the cast is predominantly American, the show is filmed at the same location as the British version: the atmospheric Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands. Scottish actor Alan Cumming will take on hosting duties for the US variant, rather than Claudia Winkleman.

Maura will be joined by a host of well-known faces, including Donna Kelce, the 74-year-old mother of NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce. Discussing her upcoming appearance, Maura teased that the new season is pure chaos. She told The Playlist that about halfway through, viewers will witness what she describes as the greatest moment in Traitors' history, promising utter carnage and brilliant television. The series will also be available for UK audiences to stream on BBC iPlayer.
