Lisa Riley's I'm A Celeb Diet: Special Meals & 1.5 Stone Weight Loss Revealed
Lisa Riley's I'm A Celeb Diet & 1.5 Stone Weight Loss

Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley has opened up about the unique dietary arrangements that supported her during her time on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, revealing she also shed an impressive one and a half stone.

Special Jungle Meals for a Vegetarian Star

In a candid new interview, the star, who was the eighth celebrity eliminated from the jungle in a double eviction with Jack Osbourne, explained that producers provided her with specific meat-free alternatives. Lisa Riley was given Quorn chicken strips, Quorn mince, tempeh, and tofu to accommodate her vegetarian lifestyle, which she has maintained throughout her public weight loss journey.

She expressed her gratitude for the consideration, telling the Mail: "I'm so fortunate." The actress also shared a culinary tip she learned in camp, noting that her initial attempts at boiling tofu were unsuccessful. "When Martin [Kemp] took over my tofu preparation, it was scrumptious. When I was doing it, it was rubbish," she admitted.

Portion Control and Jungle Activity Key to Weight Loss

Despite the special meals, Lisa's diet in the Australian camp was largely based on rice and beans, a regime she described as "brutal." Her meals were often padded out with extra rice, leading to a newfound aversion. "Anyway, do I fancy seeing rice again? No thanks. Rice and I are done," she stated.

However, this controlled intake, combined with the relentless physical demands of jungle life, led to significant weight loss. Lisa Riley lost one and a half stone (approximately 21 pounds) during her almost three-week stint. She emphasised that it wasn't just the food but the constant activity that drove the change.

"It's portion control... When you're in there, people don't have an idea of the lifestyle, the geography of the camp," Lisa explained. "It's the do-ability, the activeness. Like, when you go up to the [Bush] Telegraph to talk, it's step after step. When you go to a challenge, you never stop moving. It's endless."

A Continued Journey and the 2025 Finale

This latest weight loss adds to Lisa Riley's remarkable transformation. The actress famously lost over 10 stone back in 2016 and later underwent surgery to remove excess skin, a process documented in her TV show Lisa Riley's Baggy Body Club.

Her jungle experience also meant she missed out on the notorious eating trials, where contestants are faced with delicacies like crocodile and eels. Meanwhile, the final of I'm A Celebrity 2025 is set to air on Sunday night on ITV1 and ITVX. Either former EastEnders star Shona McGarty, YouTuber AngryGinge, or Celebs Go Dating's Tom Read-Wilson will be crowned the king or queen of the jungle.
