Lindsay Lohan's Rare Miami Family Day with Son Luai

Actress Lindsay Lohan offered a glimpse into her family life this week during a rare public outing with her husband and young son in Miami.

A Stylish Family Lunch in Florida

The 39-year-old star, who recently graced the cover of New York magazine, was spotted enjoying a lunch date with friends on Monday following the holiday weekend. Based in Dubai, the family-of-three made a stylish appearance in the Florida sunshine.

Lohan looked chic in a white halter-neck mini dress, layered with a cosy yellow cardigan. She accessorised with narrow brown sunglasses and wore her waist-length blonde hair in a centre-parted, low ponytail. The actress completed her look with simple white flats and was seen at one point carrying her toddler, Luai, on her hip.

Her husband, 38-year-old financier Bader Shammas, coordinated in white trousers and a white T-shirt, topping it off with a pale grey and green plaid shirt worn open. Their son, Luai, born in July 2023, matched his parents in a cute white outfit, complete with black socks and grey, black, and red sneakers.

Lohan's Heartfelt Tribute to Her 'Sunshine'

The doting mother, who quietly tied the knot with Shammas in 2022, has been openly cherishing motherhood. This past summer, she marked her only child's second birthday with a gushing tribute on Instagram, shared with her 16 million followers.

'Happy Birthday to our sunshine, our sweetest boy, our heart, Luai!' Lohan began in the heartfelt caption. 'Watching you grow has been the greatest joy of our life. You light up every room (and keep us all on our toes), and we are so proud to be your mama and daddy.'

She continued, expressing the profound impact of parenthood: 'You are the deepest love we have ever known, the wildest adventure, and the most beautiful purpose. You have given our lives a whole new meaning, and we are grateful every single day.' The birthday celebration was dinosaur-themed, cleverly dubbed 'Luai's 2Rex.'

Future Family Plans and Life in Dubai

Lohan, who relocated to Dubai in 2014, announced her engagement to Shammas in November 2021 with an Instagram post showing off her diamond ring and calling him her 'love,' 'life,' 'family,' and 'future.'

Looking ahead, the actress has hinted at expanding their family. In an interview with Elle magazine in May, she shared her thoughts on having more children. 'I feel like we live in a different world now, where women make it such a point, especially in motherhood, to make time for ourselves,' she said.

She also noted a playful, practical reason: 'Once you have one kid, you’re like, "Oh, my kid needs a kid to play with." I don’t know if it’s selfish — but I’m like, I need more than one kid to take care of me when I’m older.' The family's rare Miami appearance shows a happy and stylish chapter for the actress, far from the Hollywood spotlight she once dominated.
