Lily Allen's Festive Revenge Dress & Kiss with Freud at London Party
Lily Allen's Revenge Dress & Kiss at Christmas Party

Pop star Lily Allen hosted a celebrity-packed Christmas party in London on Friday night, where she was photographed sharing a passionate kiss with Jonah Freud while wearing a show-stopping festive outfit dubbed the 'ultimate revenge dress'.

A Festive Transformation in a Daring Dress

The 40-year-old singer, who spent last Christmas alone following her split from husband David Harbour, painted the town red at the legendary Stringfellow's nightspot. Allen's look was a dramatic departure from her past style, featuring a halterneck red velvet minidress with white fur edging, paired with white stockings, suspenders with bows, and vertiginous white fur-trimmed platform heels. She completed the ensemble with a long red velvet cloak and a white Chanel handbag.

Her sultry 'Seductive Santa' aesthetic was a world away from the image of her ex-husband, who played a dishevelled Saint Nick in the film Violent Night. The party served as a vibrant bookend to a rollercoaster year for Allen, which saw her release a critically acclaimed album, 'West End Girl', cryptically detailing Harbour's alleged infidelity.

Celebrity Guests and a New Romance

The event was attended by a host of famous faces, including three-time Grammy winner Olivia Rodrigo, who wore a black lace minidress. Fellow pop star Lola Young opted for a plunging leather top and hotpants, while Ella Eyre dazzled in a sheer red dress.

All eyes, however, were on Lily and her companion, Jonah Freud. The son of PR mogul Matthew Freud and great-nephew of artist Lucian Freud was seen with his arms around Allen in several photos before the pair shared a kiss in front of other guests. This public display follows a date night over a month ago at the Michelin-starred Dorian in Notting Hill.

A Year of Heartbreak and Comeback

The festive celebration marks a significant personal milestone for Allen. Last December, the London-born star was reeling from her separation from David Harbour, the 50-year-old Stranger Things actor she married in September 2020 after meeting on the Raya dating app. She had relocated to the US with her two daughters from her first marriage before their split.

Harbour is currently starring in the final series of the Netflix hit, with new episodes set for release on Boxing Day. Meanwhile, Allen's album and her triumphant, headline-grabbing party appearance signal a powerful and glamorous resurgence for the star as she heads into the new year.
