Kylie Jenner's Latex Bikini Photo Teases 'The Moment' Mockumentary
Kylie Jenner Promotes New Film 'The Moment' on Instagram

Cosmetics billionaire Kylie Jenner set Instagram alight this Thursday with a provocative promotional image for her upcoming cinematic venture. The 28-year-old reality TV star turned business mogul posed alongside British pop singer Charli XCX, clad in a daring black latex bikini and holding a movie clapperboard.

Promoting a Satirical Look at Fame

The eye-catching snapshot was shared to Jenner's vast social media following to drum up excitement for the new mockumentary film titled 'The Moment'. In the project, Jenner plays a version of herself, offering commentary on the nature of celebrity. The film is scheduled for a limited release in select New York and Los Angeles theatres on January 30, 2026.

Jenner's caption echoed the film's title, writing: "The moment!!! can’t wait to see u at the movies xx la and ny tickets on sale now <3 @themoment." The official synopsis describes the feature as following the life of a pop star in the lead-up to her first headline arena tour. It promises an insider's perspective on the music industry and explores how subculture is mutated by commercial success.

Inside 'The Moment' and the 'Brat' Phenomenon

The film centres on Charli XCX, who portrays a fictionalised version of herself navigating the pressures of fame and her first major tour. Scripted scenes satirise the music business, with record executives scheming to extend the cultural cachet of a movement dubbed 'brat summer' indefinitely.

This term, popularised by Charli XCX herself and her hugely successful sixth studio album 'Brat', evolved from a social media trend into a full-blown lifestyle. Collins Dictionary even crowned 'brat' as its Word of the Year for 2024, defining it as being "characterised by a confident, independent, and hedonistic attitude".

The trailer, released in December, blends concert footage with scripted satire. It features cameos from Hollywood stars Alexander Skarsgård and Rachel Sennott, alongside Jenner. In one scene, Charli questions the longevity of the 'brat summer' craze, calling it "a bit cringe," while later lamenting the constant demand to be "innovative" and "cool."

Jenner's character delivers a pointed piece of advice in the clip, stating: "The second people are getting sick of you, that's when you need to go even harder." The film's score will be composed by Charli's longtime collaborator A. G. Cook, who worked on the 'Brat' album.

Cast Details and Cultural Impact

The cast of 'The Moment' also includes Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, Jamie Demetriou, Arielle Dombasle and Hailey Benton Gates. The project is based on Charli XCX's original concept.

Charli's 'Brat' album was a dominant cultural force, earning her multiple accolades. The British singer, whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison, took home awards including Best Album and Artist of the Year for the record that inspired a global TikTok trend.

For Jenner, the latex bikini look is a familiar one; she braved the Aspen chill in a similar swimsuit back in 2022, and the white robe she wears in the promotional image also features in the film's trailer.
