Kim Kardashian Admits She Feels Like 'Snapping' Over Kanye West's Comments
Kim Kardashian on Kanye West: 'I Feel Like Snapping'

Reality television star Kim Kardashian has revealed the emotional toll of co-parenting with her former husband Kanye West, admitting she sometimes feels like "snapping" over his public outbursts.

The Emotional Strain of Public Comments

During the latest episode of her Hulu series The Kardashians, which aired on Thursday, the Skims founder underwent a follow-up brain scan following her earlier aneurysm scare. While at the medical appointment with Scott Disick, her sister's former partner, the conversation turned to her ongoing challenges with the rapper.

"By the way, I'm sorry about all that you're going through. It looks stressful," Disick remarked, carefully avoiding directly naming West. "I mean, I see some of the stuff, and it's like, f***."

Kardashian responded honestly: "It is hard." In a separate confessional segment filmed for the show, she described West as being "very loud out there right now" but maintained her position of non-engagement. "I just can't really engage. I think it's just for the better," she explained.

Protecting Their Four Children

The former couple, who married in 2014 after two years of dating, share four children together: daughters North, 12, and Saint, nine, along with sons Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six. Kardashian initiated divorce proceedings in 2021, with their separation finalised in 2022.

Throughout the current season of her reality programme, Kardashian has consistently emphasised that her primary concern is shielding their children from their father's erratic public behaviour. "They're gonna know things. They're gonna grow up, they're gonna see," she acknowledged during the season seven premiere last month. "So, it's my job as a mom to make sure that, at a time when that behaviour is happening, to make sure they're protected."

In another emotional confessional, she stressed: "Everyone around can handle it, but like, protect my babies."

Addressing Misconceptions and False Claims

Kardashian also used the platform to counter several claims made by West, including his assertions that he had attempted to contact her. "I mean, I always encourage a relationship, but a healthy one," she stated, expressing frustration that her character as a mother was being questioned due to her ex-husband's comments.

She addressed the perception that she has the "luxury of walking away and not dealing [with him] ever again," clarifying: "That's not my reality… We have four kids together."

The businesswoman described the confusing nature of their situation, noting: "It's very confusing because it'll be all this talk on the internet like, 'I'm keeping the kids.' He's never once called and asked [to see them]. Then I'll wake up, and it's on Twitter that I'm keeping the kids when it's not true and it's not rational."

Despite the provocation, Kardashian maintains her disciplined approach: "I can't engage all the time." She pointedly summarised the situation by stating, "It's a divorce, not a kidnapping."

While acknowledging the intense frustration that makes her want to react strongly, Kardashian concluded: "Sometimes I just feel like snapping, but I can't. I just can't."
