Kelly Brook's Past Engagements Revealed on I'm A Celeb

Model and television personality Kelly Brook has shared intimate details about her romantic history during Thursday's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, revealing her husband Jeremy Parisi had been 'petrified' to propose due to her five previous engagements.

Revealing Past Relationships

The 46-year-old celebrity, who married Italian model Jeremy Parisi in 2022 after meeting in 2015, surprised fellow campmates when she disclosed: 'I'd been engaged about five times before I met my husband!' Brook explained that her husband's hesitation stemmed from concern that proposing might signal 'the beginning of the end' given her track record with previous engagements.

Brook's relationship history includes some high-profile names. Her longest relationship was with Hollywood actor Jason Statham, 58, whom she dated for six years between 1997 and 2003, becoming engaged during that period. She later became engaged to American actor Billy Zane, 59, after meeting on the set of Survival Island in 2005.

More recently, Brook was engaged to Scottish international rugby union player Thom Evans, 40, from 2010 to 2013, followed by Gladiator competitor David McIntosh, 39, though that relationship lasted less than a year before ending in January 2015.

Emotional Impact on Campmate

The conversation about engagements had a profound effect on fellow campmate Shona McGarty, the 34-year-old former EastEnders star who had recently split from her musician fiancé David Bracken just weeks before entering the jungle. McGarty confessed to campmate Tom Read Wilson that she was struggling with the engagement discussion due to her recent breakup and had to walk away from the conversation.

Tom responded supportively, telling her: 'I think you've done a really sensible thing' before offering the heartbroken star a pep talk. According to sources, McGarty and Bracken had met in 2023 after he messaged her on TikTok asking to collaborate on a song, but ultimately realised they wanted different things and decided to remain friends.

Camp Dynamics and Challenges

The emotional revelations came as the ITV show's 'rivals' challenge divided celebrities into two opposing camps: the luxurious Win City and the dreary Doomsville, where Kelly, Shona, Martin Kemp and Tom Read Wilson found themselves alongside Aitch and Eddie Kadi.

Despite their uncomfortable surroundings, the Doomsville residents maintained positive spirits. Kelly declared: 'Sleep deprivation, food deprivation but you know what they can't do...' with Martin Kemp adding: 'Break our spirit!' Kelly concluded: 'There is no fun deprivation in this place!'

The camps later competed in the 'Your Cake Or Mine' challenge, which saw contestants racing to eat cupcakes before they dropped into offal. Shona McGarty emerged victorious against Alex Scott, while Tom Read Wilson defeated Ruby Wax, though Win City ultimately claimed more victories in the food-focused competition.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! continues Friday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
