Jeremy Parisi, the husband of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Kelly Brook, has issued a heartfelt plea to online trolls who have targeted his wife with abuse about her body. In an exclusive interview, he revealed the emotional toll the scrutiny has taken on the jungle campmate.
A Husband's Heartfelt Defence
Speaking on Saturday, 22nd November 2025, Parisi told of how difficult it has been for Kelly to contend with vicious comments about her figure, which surfaced just before she entered the jungle. He expressed his pride in her confidence, stating, "I'm so happy to see Kelly being so confident and happy in her own skin, it's hard for women in the public eye to be put under such scrutiny but she is a positive role model for so many women which is something she should be proud of."
This support comes after Kelly herself made a direct appeal to viewers last week, following a barrage of hateful comments after she landed at Brisbane Airport. The 46-year-old model and presenter acknowledged the natural changes in her body, saying, "Obviously, I am not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore. You know, life changes and your body changes. And I just hope people are accepting of me and how I look now, and not comparing me to how I used to look."
Jungle Confidence and Birthday Blues
Kelly has since shown her confidence in camp, becoming the first celebrity this series to strip off for a jungle shower in a patterned bikini. Her husband described the moment as her looking "gorgeous".
Parisi also shared his sadness at missing Kelly's birthday, which she will celebrate in the jungle on Sunday, turning 47. This marks the first time in a decade the couple have not been together for her birthday. He revealed, "This Sunday will be a hard one as it's Kelly's birthday and the first time we've not spent it together in 10 years. I'm flying out on Monday which will make it easier and we will make sure to do belated celebrations when we are reunited." He plans to meet her on the famous jungle bridge.
A Long-Standing Battle for Body Acceptance
This is not a new fight for Kelly Brook, who has been forced to address comments about her figure for years. She has consistently championed body positivity, once stating, "I've always been a curvy girl and I'm proud of that."
When previously accused of being "too big", she firmly replied, "I'm a healthy size 12. I'm not apologising for having boobs and a bum." Before entering the jungle, she spoke about her current body confidence, explaining that she had "embraced" her curves. "I feel really confident. I feel like my body is in good shape. I just feel great," she said. "I am 46, I embrace my curves. I embrace my body. I ran a marathon this year…so I am proud of that."
Parisi's interview also touched on an earlier emotional moment in the week, where he was upset watching Kelly break down in tears in the Bush Telegraph after receiving a picture of him and their dog, Teddy. Despite the challenges, Kelly's journey in the jungle continues to be one of resilience and self-acceptance, with her husband's unwavering support from the sidelines.
