Nicola McLean, a former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant, has made startling claims about fellow glamour model turned radio presenter Kelly Brook, suggesting viewers of the current series haven't yet seen her "true colours." The revelation comes amidst ongoing tension between Brook and her campmate, Jack Osbourne.
McLean, who entered the jungle herself in 2008, alleges that despite once acting as a confidante for Brook during a personal crisis, the model later completely snubbed her. According to McLean, she spent an entire day helping the 46-year-old radio host identify the mistress of a cheating ex-boyfriend.
A Jungle of Drama: Clashes and Claims
Nicola's comments arrive hot on the heels of a very public kitchen clash between Brook and Jack Osbourne, 40. The incident, which involved the preparation of fish, prompted Jack's sister, Kelly Osbourne, 41, to launch a fierce defence of her brother from outside the camp.
Osbourne branded Brook a "bully" and "performative" after watching the interaction. Brook had claimed that Jack "elbowed" her aside to take over the fish preparation, a moment she described as seeing his eyes "light up" like it was "Christmas." This wasn't the first culinary conflict, with a previous disagreement over potato peeling also causing friction.

However, not everyone is criticising Kelly Brook's character. A former housekeeper, known as Gem, took to TikTok to refute the "bully" claims, describing her ex-boss as "down to earth" and an excellent cook, suggesting her kitchen bossiness stems from skill rather than malice.
Adding perspective to the televised drama, Radio 1 presenter Dean McCullough, a star of last year's series, reminded viewers that the show is heavily edited, presenting only "tiny snippets" of the actual camp life. While McLean predicts a feisty side to Brook will emerge, others continue to defend the star's true nature behind the scenes.
