In a dramatic turn of events, reality television star Katie Price has publicly apologised to fellow celebrity Myleene Klass following controversial remarks made about Klass's recent MBE honour. The apology came just days after Price launched a scathing attack during her live tour performance.
The Fashionable Aftermath
Myleene Klass demonstrated her signature chic style when she was spotted leaving the Smooth radio studios in London on Saturday. The 47-year-old media personality looked effortlessly stylish in a leopard print mini dress paired with sheer black tights and tan suede boots.
Her ensemble was carefully accessorised with a brown leather belt, maroon gloves and a coordinating faux fur leopard print jacket. The stylish appearance came shortly after Katie Price's public apology regarding comments made about Klass's MBE recognition.
The Controversial Comments
Earlier in the week, Katie Price had made headlines for all the wrong reasons after branding Myleene a 'clone' during her live tour. The 47-year-old reality star had questioned why Klass received an MBE, suggesting it was for 'playing the classical piano' and criticising the television industry as 'corrupt'.
Price made these remarks alongside friend Kerry Katona, unaware that Klass had actually been honoured for her significant work in raising awareness about miscarriages and women's health issues.
A Heartfelt Apology
During a recent episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, Price offered a sincere apology after learning the true reason behind Klass's MBE. The reality star confessed that her sister Sophie and mother had 'told her off' for the inappropriate comments.
'Now I never apologise unless I'm in the wrong,' Price stated during the podcast recording. 'I did not know on my life, now I know why she did get an MBE. She done something about miscarriages, and that's very close to my heart as I've also had miscarriages.'
Price went on to explain that her original 'clone' comment was directed at television personalities sharing the same management, rather than being a personal attack on Klass specifically.
The MBE honour was awarded to Myleene Klass in July for her services to women's health, miscarriage awareness and charitable work. Price acknowledged that she should have researched the reasons behind the honour before making public criticisms.
'From me to Myleene, I sincerely apologise because it's a good cause she does it for,' Price concluded. 'Apologies from me, that will teach me for not reading into it, and talking before I knew that she deserved to get an MBE.'
The public apology marks a significant reversal from Price's earlier comments, where she had vehemently criticised the honour and described the industry as 'corrupt'.
