Jenner and Chalamet's Surprising Date Night Activity Revealed

In a rare and candid interview, Kylie Jenner has offered a glimpse into her private life with long-term partner Timothée Chalamet, revealing that their preferred date night activity involves hosting competitive poker games. The reality television star and cosmetics mogul, who has been dating the Oscar-nominated actor for three years, shared this intimate detail during a conversation with Vanity Fair, published on Wednesday.

A Shared Passion for Poker

Despite their vastly different professional backgrounds, Jenner explained that she and Chalamet connect over their mutual enjoyment of poker. "I grew up here in Los Angeles, but I don't really have much of a nightlife—I play a lot of poker," the 28-year-old entrepreneur confessed. She elaborated that she frequently organises poker evenings at her residence, where Chalamet and his circle of friends, including renowned painter Jonas Wood, gather to play.

High-Stakes Games with Artistic Friends

Jenner expressed particular enthusiasm for playing with Chalamet's artistic companions, noting their bold betting strategies. "I love playing with them because they bet big and they juice the pot," the Kylie Cosmetics founder remarked. "When you play frequently, competing against overly cautious players can become tedious. It's genuinely challenging and exciting when they're placing substantial bets."

She also mentioned her recent participation in a game with Wood and her intention to attend his annual World Series of Art Poker tournament. This exclusive event has attracted numerous celebrities from the Los Angeles art scene and beyond, including Ellen DeGeneres, Benny Blanco, and Jack Black.

Public Declarations of Love

Jenner and Chalamet first confirmed their romantic involvement in 2023 and have since made several joint appearances on red carpets, most notably at the 2025 premiere of Chalamet's critically acclaimed film, Marty Supreme. Although the couple typically maintains privacy regarding their relationship, Chalamet broke his silence in January during his acceptance speech for the Best Actor trophy at the Critics Choice Awards.

"And lastly, I'll just say, thank you to my partner of three years," he declared emotionally. "Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn't do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much." Cameras captured Jenner in the audience, visibly moved and mouthing the words, "I love you, too."

Thoughtful Gestures and Sweet Surprises

Chalamet has since shared additional heartwarming anecdotes about their relationship. During a recent CNN & Variety Town Hall Event, the Call Me By Your Name star recounted how Jenner surprised him with a private screening of his favourite movie, Interstellar, for his birthday in December.

"I was grumpy on the way there because I didn't know where she was taking me," Chalamet admitted during the conversation with his co-star Matthew McConaughey. "It's my birthday, why are we driving thirty minutes outside of Los Angeles? When we arrived at the theatre and I saw it was Interstellar in IMAX, I immediately apologised for being so irritable during the journey."

In Interstellar, Chalamet portrayed Tom, the son of McConaughey's character Cooper, marking the beginning of the two actors' professional relationship. Jenner's thoughtful birthday surprise clearly demonstrated her deep understanding of her partner's passions, further solidifying the strong bond they have cultivated over the past three years.
