LeAnn Rimes has cancelled two tour dates after falling severely ill. The 43-year-old singer announced the news on Instagram, stating that she was unable to travel or perform due to her condition. The affected shows in Spokane and Seattle have been rescheduled.
In a social media post, Rimes expressed her regret, saying: 'Due to severe illness, I am unable to travel & perform this week. I'm sorry to share that the upcoming shows in Spokane and Seattle will be rescheduled.' The Spokane show, originally set for April 30, has been moved to May 31, while the Seattle performance on May 1 will now take place on June 2.
When a fan sent well wishes, Rimes replied that she was 'still in the throes of it' but grateful that the shows could be rescheduled rather than cancelled outright. She wrote: 'Thank you. I'm still in the throes of it. Luckily, we rescheduled the shows, not canceled.'
This is not the first health issue Rimes has faced recently. She previously shared a video of a deep jaw release massage, which she said was linked to her 'perimenopausal, menopausal journey'. The procedure, performed by Garry Lineham of Human Garage, involves manipulating connective tissue to release tension. Rimes broke down in tears during the massage, admitting she had 'no idea there was so much tension' in her jaw.
