According to leading bookmaker Betfred, the current favourite to win is Angry Ginge at 4/11. He is closely followed by Tom Read Wilson at 7/2, with Shona McGarty trailing at 6/1. However, these odds come after a stunning elimination that has reshaped the competition.
The shock exit of rapper Aitch on Saturday night has completely altered the landscape. Aitch was previously the strong favourite with odds of 10/11 to win, making his departure a major surprise for viewers and punters alike.
A Two-Horse Race for the Crown
A spokesperson for Spin Genie provided analysis to The Mirror, indicating the contest is now a tight battle between the two frontrunners. "Currently, Ginge merely holds on to his spot as favourite, priced at 5/4 to win tonight," they said. "However, following Aitch’s exit, Shona has really closed the gap, now priced at 11/8 to win."
They added that Tom Read Wilson's chances look slim at 4/1, concluding that "the show now looks set to be a two horse race to the crown." The dramatic tightening of the odds means the winner is far less predictable than it seemed just 24 hours ago.
Mega-Long Final Episode Ahead
Viewers are in for an extended treat to see the winner crowned. The action unfolds in a mega-long final broadcast on Sunday, December 7th. The main show on ITV1 will run for one hour and 40 minutes from 9pm to 10:40pm.
